I’m producing an independent film, a spiritual/political

dark comedy and I’ve produced the soundtrack, bought a camera but have no moolah for sound equipment.
I’m looking for someone in Hollywood with equipment who will work with me for free and/or let me use his/her equipment because it’s gathering dust at the moment.
I have no money. I’m at the begging and borrowing stage.
If you can or know someone who can please contact me.

Am hoping to start shooting December 1.

i earned about 2000 by doing car washes, garage sales, and selling other things (i.e. food and tickets and the such) for a trip out of country

of course i was working with my church and about 110 other people on the same project, but the outcome was huge…

just act big, work big, hope and pray big, and the outcome will be big

Help me with: does anybody know anything about these artisits?

Just an idea, and it may not work for you, but if you streamline the production and shooting schedule, you could probably sell your camera and lease one for the time you are shooting and still have money left over to also lease your mic, soundboard and cabling. What kind of camera are you shooting with? I assume you are filming digital since you made no mention of film or processing budget. Are you trying to patch your sound in to your camera for filming your do you want an audio master on it’s own media?

Help me with: Any coral reefers out there who may be able to help me with a little issue?

In Hollywood:
(1) Go the Los Angeles Film School on Sunset & Vine and see if anyone in the sound department would be interested in helping you as an exercise.
(2) Put an ad, or several ads on Craig’s list under various headings asking for a sound person.
(3) Get a job (actually that is really first) anywhere, doing anything and trust that you will meet good people to help you even there. It actually really happens.
(4) You might also check Los Angeles City College (on Vermont) and see if there are persons doing sound there…
(5) Contact AFI, the American Film Institute which is a film school and post an ad there. Go there in person and see.
(6) Post an ad on Recycler.com
(7) Post an ad (on an index card) for a sound person at the Beachwood Canyon neighborhood board. Index cards are dropped off in the cafe.

since your mean to everyone else then ****… leave the filming biz and just become a critique. I honestly dont think you have ever felt love because if you have you would know that its a give and take. If you truly love one another things will always work out.

I cant believe how ICY of a person you are.. are you 60+ and pissed about not being youthful or what?

Quit being mean to people and start giving advice..
