Help, PLEASE!

! How do I put an icon in the quick launch bar, so that when I’m on-line I can click the icon and see the desktop?

I have been trying to find this information online, but have failed so, I’m hoping some computer nerd (respectfully) will help me out, thanks.

open up notepad and put

[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop

in it.

save the file as desktop.scf
tadaa, take care.

oh.. if you need help putting it in quick launch bar.. just drag and drop… let me know if u got it figured out.

Yeah, I did that already and it went on the desktop perfectly, but when I wanted to drag and drop it into the quick launch bar, it wouldn’t let me. Now what?

right click on the bar, keep trying different places until you see a menu that has ‘lock the taskbar’ option… its probably currently locked so.. select it to unlock

best places to click is riiiight next to start menu before first quick launch icon
