Xeno’s Random Video Shuffle V
This one’s a little too artsy for most people to understand if the Youtube comments are anything to go by. However, I think people here will get it.
Be warned, though, it’s a little on the bizarre side.
This one is called “Doll Face”.
Enjoy.
Yours, as always,
Xeno Dragon

I think it demonstrates how far some people will go to try to be visually appealing to others that they completely lose themselves (total disconnect) in the process.
As the robot/doll face shows at the end, she is still alive but shattered, her goal never accomplished because she would never be content with her own image/self worth.
It’s a great video, keep them coming I enjoy them and share most of them with my preteen daughter and we have discussions around them. She likes the fact that it encourages her to well rounded thinking.
(thanks Xeno)
we are all slaves to the media.
anything the media does we will try and mimic to be accepted
You sure like your animated videos, Xeno.
But yes, it shows the horrible and devastating truth about the media.
At first I was like wtf is this???
Got it when the robot thing couldn’t reach the TV and broke itself trying though. That was pretty cool Xeno :)
Hi Xeno. My first reaction was, “oooookay”.
But the more I think about it, it sort of breaks my heart on some level.
Seeing her all broken up like that.
Simply because she was striving so hard to be “beautiful”.
This is a really amazing video with a heavy message about our society today.
And, even tho she was a machine, it says quite alot about the heart of a woman.
Well, that was my interpretation.
Thank You again, Xeno. Edie
I find this one very interesting. I dont ever watch telivision, so at first wondered were you were taking us with this video.
It dawned on me slowly, It is about seeing, wanting, yerning for and getting addicted to. Not because we need it but because we want it.
It has made me see myself in a different light, something I am working on at the moment. I thought I was doing it for other people to enjoy, to an extent that is true. It is though mainly because I want it, yern for it and have become addicted to it.
If I continue with it, it will almost break me financially, therefore creating other problems for me.
Time to stop and rethink
anorexia?
ok….so kiwi died because he wanted to fly and the robot died because it wanted to be human.
i like it. well made this is
I am loving the random video shuffle! Keep it up. I found this one really quite sad but the kiwi really made me smile.

It seemed like robots animating life. Wasting their time downloading garbage off the tv:). Garbage in = Garbage out
Thanks for the invite, someone creative needs to manage that skill.

Though she try and try again, only death does she reach in the end.
The beauty she sought, the restraints she fought,
Only to find in vain that she would fail again,
Outward beauty is all in vain.
every single time theres a new post. i read it but i cant resist watching this vid again
not just that. but that the media and society are closely linked.
media is just a dose of reality, although a concentrated form.
the further doll-face reach from her foundation (the box), the further
media’s image of “perfection” strayed from the confines of
rationality (doll couldn’t even catch of sight of the screen due to distance).
who came up with these unrealistic and sadistic ideas of beauty?
the media or society? each fuels the other. it’s a funny cycle really.
