I’m trying to find the name of a book,

its about this girl who is onboard a spaceship with some other people and it lands on the moon. The man and the woman go down to earth and describe the surface of the earth to the girl. They go back never to return leaving the girl on her own, with no hope she puts herself into a life preserver waiting for someone to wake her up.

Now, in the present/future some guy from wales begins work in a moon base and meets this woman called caren. The story goes on and this girl that is in the coma wakes up because the ships computer detects activity on the moons surface and she adventures out causing a stirr amongst the people in the moonbase as she trvells around hidden by moon dust. Eventually the guy from wales falls ‘ill’ with this syndrome that makes you want to run out onto the surface without your suit on and eventually he does it and he dies…

theres obviously alot more detail then that but theres stronb biblical referance to adam and eve with the two people at the begining… any ideas???
