i neeed a date for cotillion
and my mom watns me to go with this guy i kno (whos a senior, ima sophmore), kinda, but not really and though hes nice and goodlooking and everything- i dont know him very well. no attraction to him- lots of awkward silences
i wanna go with this guy i hav a mild crush on, but THTS a problem b/c:
- havent mentioned him to her (been keeping him my secret)
- hes a freshman (tht would tweak everyone out)
-hes kinda quiet (in a way my mom would probably find creepy)
-he looks like a baby Kurt Cobain (which would prob bother my mom… a lot)
AND FINALLY
-WE DONT REALLY KNOW EACHOTHER…. WE JUST MAKE EYES IN THE HALLWAY
my mom also thinks it’s a bad idea to go with someone you r crushing on, b/c its awkward and you wanna be perfect for the person and shes worried tht if i take someone i really like, i’ll be too preoccupied to hav fun
and its not like i can go w/o a date cause my exboyfriendfellow is gonna hav a date and if i show up w/o one and he has one- ima jump off the nearest cliff
im in a bind…. wat should i do
