i am 16 and im not comfortable with my body.

im not fat, but i have a lot of it.
i would love to lose like 10 or 15 pounds..
im thinking of starting to go to the gym and using a dieting pill because my biggest issue is overeating. even if im not hungry i go over to the pantry to get food. alll the time
i need a good plan, any suggestions?

Going to the gym could make you feel better and relieve your stress or any other emotions you have been feeling. Diet pills are not something I would try.

i agree– i used to hav really bad body image prblems too– find something tht makes you feel good about yourself and tht pushes you to work harder–
for me its dance; thts how i maintain healthy self image and a good weight and stuff

i do dance, a lot, competitively.
if you do too then maybe you unerstand the pressure it is to have a perfect body.
its like im probably 125 pounds.. i want to be like 115 or 110..
but do the diet pills work?

Don’t do the diet pill thing hon, when you stop taking it the weight will all come back. Losing weight isnt complicated its healthy and regular eating to stoke your metabolism. Try eating a good Breakfast made up of Protein and Complex Carbs, i.e 3 eggs ratio of 1yolk to 2whites scrambled, one piece of wholegrain toast and maybe a piece of fruit , whatever you choose or a low fat natural yogurt.Try to plan your days eating like this..
Breakfast
3hrs later healthy snack again fruit or lowfat yogurt.
Lunch maybe chicken salad, low fat dressing and minimum quantity.
3hrs later Healthy snack
3hrs later Dinner, again protein …chicken, or fish, keep red meat to once a week if poss.
3hrs later, if you have a healthy snack before bed, make it by 7pm.
Google Healthy snacks, and Healthy Breakfast you can find some ideas there no doubt.
Stop soda ! if you want to lose weight the soda has to go, drink pure fruit juice or water.
If you have to have sugar in your coffee or tea try unrefined brown sugar.
Try to stay off junk foods, but if you crave treats, have one maybe twice a week and a small portion, otherwise you’ll cheat and pig out on it, so dont deprive, just be sensible about it.

The method Ive given you makes sure you dont go hungry and keep you from feeling hungry.

Also take up weight training, you have to do the two combined, there’s no point in diet if you dont exercise too.

stay away from the diet pills. a fun active lifestyle is the best way to keep fit. ea a god breakfast in the morning too, it will help to speed up your metabloism. but dont bother with pills or fad diets - if they worked, every1 wud be slim. what it takes is a lifestyle change.

because ill feel better if i lose the weight. im so self concuious especially about my lower abs, my upper abs are fine and flat but i seem to have a pooch right below my belly button, and its not exactly small. i think ill stop drinking pop. i drink so much, so maybe that will help.
and my goal is to start running at the gym a few times a week.
i feel that the pills would be just an added help to get me there.

To work your abs anon, you have to hit them from different directions, you have many muscles there, and you need to hit them all by doing crunches for the upper abs, reverse crunch for lowe abs, the you have the obliques that are down the sides. Google exercises for Abs you can probably find a few there, but you have to hit each part of the abs to define them. :-)

Actually when I say many muscles the abs are made up of two that run side by side, but they are somewhat divided into different groups so to speak. If you can do three times a week at the gym go for it :-)
