How do I get spots off my formal dress?

I used anti-static on it and it left spots…does anyone know how to get them off??
Formal is in a few hours, im desperate!

ok, the material in really thin, kinda netty, i guess you could say…and Im not sure what the ingredients are the label is really faded…..will sponging it in cold water work?

I used to have a cat named spots and he always like to get on the laundry after drying it becuase it was nice and warm. The way I got him off the laundry, I used to open a can of cat food in the kitchen. He would get off right away and come running for the food!
