i have to say, i use to be one of those “puppets” but only because i had to be… but its not something that i would ever do again… ever!! being someone that you arent just to make someone else happy is going to make you miserable… if someone doesnt like you for who you are… then that is their loss.. not yours…

it was like i was acting… i was abused as a wife so i had to act this way… not by choice.. and yes.. it was like no one knew who i really was… shoot, i dont think i even knew who i was..

yeah… but it has made me realize that i am me… and that is what i tell everyone… be yourself!! dont be who someone wants you to be because that is not fair to yourself and you will be miserable forever..

so be yourself.. if someone can not accept you for that.. show them the door…

Well who people “are” is a really abstract idea. If you define it by how the act and react in certain situations, then everyone’es core being is really just governed by other people and the situations they run into. I dont think theres any being or personality you can really just stamp on any person, because we could all act any way in any situation, and what goes on around us controls what we think, so its really just a chain reaction strecthing back from when we were born. :P
Everyone is the same in that everything we do is ultimately defined by natural instinct.
So I guess what you do is who you “are”, and anyone could act the same in the situation.

my view point? i have explained above what i felt through my own life situations… and i dont expect anyone to change to make someone else happy… be who you are… if someone cant accept you for that… then that is their loss… not yours.. why be someone you arent and make yourself miserable through life only for that person who wants to change you find more and more things to change about you until even you yourself dont know who the heck you are anymore?

I agree, one of my favorite quotes is that people will see in others what they want to see but it doesn’t make it so.

i find that writing takes me away from reality.. and have done a lot of writing in my life time.. pretty witty when it comes to life and certain circumstances.. i think my mind is a lot older than i am… lol..

I was joking, I’ve seen some really good writers on here in the last few days. Some of them gave me this “Oh Wow” moment. Like that little girl Polly Power have you talked to her? She seems so smart for a kid!!

not sure if i have talked to her or not… i dont know everyone on this site… only about 80… lol… but there are a handful that im really close too…. but i have noticed that there are a lot of intelligent children on this site.. some that are so bright, you would never know their age unless they tell ya.

Well this one had a story she had written for school called “some people have no one”, (or as close as I can remember), about kids that bully at school, and I thought it was pretty good, (I’m not a critic mind you), lol

lol… there are plenty of sweet hearts on here.. i have tons of friends.. however the ones that i find i click with the best are 2greeneyes, sans, bogdan, barbyman, lilies, hotdog, Richard cor de lyon , Karma Amelia , quash.. to just name a few..
