bluetooth: endless search for com ports
I have a laptop with a bluetooth radio built in, but I just purchased a driverless bluetooth dongle and I tested it on my laptop. It works, that isn’t the problem. When I switched back to the built-in, the computer began an endless search for com ports. All other features work fine, but this error prevents my phone from connecting. When I switch back to the dongle, the problem vanishes. The laptop runs Windows Vista.
I have tried everything that I know to fix it and nothing has worked. I was unable to find any mention of the problem elsewhere online.
