Maybe your outletting your insecurities through the constant struggle with your weight. Some people obsess about other things (skin, hair, height etc..) but weight seems to be the most common for us young women.
You’d be surprised but I’m sure not one person is happy with the way they physically look (at least have one thing they don’t liek about them selves) , this day and age its become progressivly worse. There is many workshops for girls now trying to regain their confidence and independence. Just remember to do what you just did and talk about it. Theres so much communication can do for you. Discussing things like this help you realize sometimes how silly you’ve been or at least put you on the right track. Its a natural thing to feel unsatisfied with your body but you have to enjoy yourself. Don’t let this obsorb your life.
I’ve been so self concious about my skin in the last few years that I almost never let my house. Its crippled me in the way that I dont like to socialize and I’ve become a cold person. Don’t let it get that far. Don’t think you can’t wear certain clothes, don’t think you can’t eat certain things, don’t limit yourself or think yourself worthless. You want to get better and enjoy life so go ahead and do so. Don’t stop yourself from that. Life is made for living.
I know that sometimes thinking this way doesnt help though and you are too stubborn. No matter what anyone says you’ll only believe one thing. But I think you need to find your true inner beauty. You obvisouly are a sensitive person and that is a wonderful quailty. And I’m sure there are many features you have physically that speak louder then any number on a scale. Just remember you have more to offer then just your body…your thighs…your stomach, whatever is bothering you. You have more to offer then just that. Thats only one small portion of you - Dont be discouraged and just keep living.
