my mind is gone all numb….unable to think creatively…with all these bills, credit cards, stock market losses, home loans, personalloans,etc…

no i can do a lot….but right now i am in a kind of stupor…..last few days my mind was distracted by the mumbai attacks….now its back to the money worries…i feel paralysed

no, i am not a plumber or electrician but i could be more of a supervisor.

i can organize and coordinate all the services to give you a complete home….but this is not my profession…..this is what i would like to do….

i started as a software programmer FoxPro….then after various businesses…now i represent a software company in mumbai, india and provide techinical support for their clients.

i am a kind of an expert in post-trade activities in stock markets…….but very poor in personal finances….hahaha

no i think it is just escapism……i enjoy marketing my company products….but it is not leading me anywhere…i am looking for something that can unleash my creativity and also settle my financial problems once and for all….you see my debts have been increasing every year….(at present it is a bad idea building homes….no one wants to build a home now…..but it was the first thing that came into my mind)

post trade activities…..let us say you purchased some stocks…the broker executes it on his terminal…after that he sends you a contract asking you to pay a certain amount of money ……if you have sold stocks…..the contract would say you have to deliver those stocks to the broker’s account…..this is a very simple transaction. normally transactions are quite complex and involves maintaining the client’s account details, etc. - especially regulatory requirements. i am an expert in these things.

i help the broker satisfy all the regulatory requirements, and satisfy the clients requirements.

i am a systems person…and a perfectionist….there are only a handful of people in the country who have this knowledge…..i find part of the work boring….the application of this knowledge boring because day in and day out it is the same stuff all people ask me……the business is not expanding as fast as my bosses want it to. if it expands faster then i could get additional help, and i could concentrate of the marketing aspects.

do some email marketing….follow upon the responses…..do some public relations…..follow up with the press…….follow leads from the emailmarketing….fix up appointments…..give demonstrations………give proposals…..close the order..

try to focus on stock brokers /brokerages as i could do it during working hours…my bosses wouldn’t mind it. but other markets would require me to work after regular working hours.

what would this do ?
