Month, Orange, Silver, Purple.

These are the ones people say have no rhymes. Well, right off of my profile page, I CAN disprove one of them.

An ode to Purple.

Roses are red, and violets are you,
but your name is rhymeless, it’s sad but it’s true.
Though I think I know of a word that you’ll like
it rhymes with you perfectly, to my delight.

If you must rhyme with Purple,
don’t stop in a slump,
for the word is called curple.
(it’s somebody’s rump)

Now, I’m thinking through all of the hundereds of thousands of words I know… I will shoot down at least one more of those. I WILL, dammit! Just you wait. I’ll show you! I’ll show you ALL!!!111!1!11!one!!!!111!!!!

*Maniacal laughter*

So far, all I can come up with for silver is shelver, but that depends on someone having a strong accent.

There’s also chilver, but that may or may not be an actual word anymore. I found it in an Old English dictionary my grandma had, and can’t find it anywhere online right now to back it up. I don’t remember the definition from that dictionary, but a quick search suggests that it is/was a word (possibly a slang) for a young, female lamb.

For Orange…
Door hinge?

It’s not as cool as it looks. English is my only real talent, so I’ve spent most of my life beefing it up.

And thanks for that. It’s nice to see real English with so many “dat” and “r u thr?” and all that “dis, dat” crap around here. It’s so hard to read that garbage.

Your right lung takes in more air than your left because your left is smaller to provide room for your heart. Just something I know. :)
