Do you need to go to Uni to be a script writer?
This has been buggin me for months, i started Y12 back in september and i’m doing my A levels (english, photography, geography and ICT) but for about 2 years now ive decided i want to go into film making. I just cant really work out what to do about university, i know that if i were to go to one it would be expensive but i would learn about how to make films but surely writing the actual stuff is what is important?
This wansnt really a problem a few weeks ago but it was when my best friend told me he wanted to be a film director that got me stuck in this rut. Am i just imagining it or is it just not worth paying for university when ‘freelancing’ is practically free and much easier with having an other job as a source of income (rather then paying for uni and having to go at set times ect)???
am i even making sense to anyone or is my confused mind jumbling up my typing???
