I know how that feels! I talk to myself as well >.> I don’t know how it got started but it just did, and now i just randomly talk to myself (quite often I might add). Sometimes I don’t actually realise that I’m doing it.

It may have been because of my lack of friends while I was growing up, or because my relationships with my brother and sisters wasn’t all that awesome, I don’t know.

But don’t worry, you’re not the only one :)

Most people talk to themselves, probably even Kuvri, but many people don’t do it out loud. That’s really the only difference between us and them, we’re more auditory and it’s more satisfying to hear the words. However, since most people do it mentally they don’t think of it as talking to themselves and probably tend to think those of us that do are crazy. This is primarily due to 2 things; how society has portrayed this behavior, and the fact that verbal self talk is less common. And since humans are generally xenophobic and suspicious of those that are not like them they think negatively about those that are different. This is the basis for all social prejudice. You’re not crazy, just more auditory (and you probably learn better and faster from hearing a lesson than from reading it.) But it’s best to not get caught, just the same. :)

you’re talking about when you’re alone, right?

i talk to myself all the time when i’m alone. i’ve seen a couple people talk to themselves when they THINK they’re alone (they didn’t know i was around to hear it). i think a lot of people do it. it’s almost like practicing or toning your verbal abilities.

but of course i don’t talk to myself when i’m around people, or out in public.

and if you do, work on avoiding that, because you probably look crazy (no offense).
