How about if you and your mom make a pact to get fit together? (cook healthy meals together, go to the gym/run together, etc. Then you can keep each other motivated.

Hey! Let me start off by saying that I totally can relate. Over the past 6 months I have really gained some weight. A lot of people noticed and especially my mom. Her and I are really close, so when she suggested we go to a health club near by our house together.. I was game. She loves swimming, so i started swimming with her and athough she isn’t a big fan of the tredmill or eliptical, I am so I do a little jog and also work on the eliptical (I hope I am spelling it right! haha). We also like to go for walks in a forrest preserve not far from my home either. We get to spend some good time together, talk, and even better.. get in shape. I just starting taking it seriously about a month ago, so I am seeing small changes. I feel so much better and energized though. You should try something that like. It’s a great way to spend time together and just become healthier. Good luck to you!

Just eat healthy hon, complex carbs and Protein, the protein will help to keep you from feeling hungry as often. Eat 5/6 small meals a day, this keeps your body from storing fat.
When the body isn’t fed at regular intervals it goes into starvation mode and stores fat.
Google healthy foods and make yourself a plan that goes in three hour intervals, meal , snack meal snack etc.. don’t eat after 7pm, cut out soda ! as you drink your calories.
Dont eat junk foods, potatoes chips etc. Have a treat maybe twice a week, but no more.
Btw complex carbs are fruit and veg, stick to whole grain bread if possible too.
Hope this helps a bit, Ive typed this so many times, I need to copy it lol.
Remember to get an exercise routine, weights are good, also lots of cardio, jogging, treadmill, ecliptic anything that makes you burn calories basically. Muscle burns fat so the weights are a good idea. :-) Fad diets seldom work. Just eat healthy and often.
