Well first make sure you suit pink, ’cause it would suck if it didn’t suit you!

To make it go pink you’ll have to bleach it first which can be damaging to your hair, but isn’t too bad if you don’t do it often. Then there’s a few other things to think about, like regrowth and dye fading - will you be able to afford to keep it pink and stuff.

But if you’re sure it’s what you want then go for it! I used to have half of my hair fluro pink, I love coloured hair. :-]

Why not? When I was younger I dyed one of my best friend’s hair bright pink.. twice! She was blonde to begin with though. It looked awesome on her! The problem I can see is that if you have black hair you will need to bleach it, and knowing that black hair bleached tend to get orange (I went from dark black to platina blonde in … not a very long time and completely destroyed my hair…)

If your hair isn’t dyed several times to begin with there might not be a problem bleaching it, but you might have to bleach it at least twice before you can get to a level where dying it pink is even possible without looking weird, and you shouldn’t bleach your hair too often (it’ll get the same consistency as chewing gum, trust me, I’ve tried, it’s NO fun) so you might look weird for a while being half blonde before you can bleach it again. If I were you I’d go to a hairdresser and ask. They might be better at judging how your hair is and how much it can tolerate.
