i know this sounds stupid and everything
but the thing is, i have these two exams in january,

but the thing is, i try to revise and nothing goes in.
i concentrate in lessons but the thing is
i dont understand what hes going on about.
i am predicted an A* but i’m getting C’s and B’s at the moment
so i am really behind and i need science to do my job
cause i want to be a pyschologist.

if you don’t understand, and you are doing the reading, get a tutor. Even if you just buy the pizza for a study session with another student, get some help.

Try the BBC website for revision. I’ve heard nothing but good about it.

the thing that always helped me most with understanding lessons was trying to explain it to someone else - maybe a friend that you study with, or even just dad or someone.

with remembering things, i always remembered more when i wrote it down in my own writing. saying it out loud was good for that too - both better than just reading.

good luck on your exams!

Some good advice here, I’d try as many different methods as you can and figrue out which works best for you - everyone learns in different ways.

Try re-writing notes into a new notebook, try and make them as comprehensive as you can so you can refer back to them later. Try to make diagrams for as many things as you can, it’s helpful to visualise things that are complicated or hard to understand.

Working with others is really helpful, I found it was good to split the work into sections, each take one to learn really well then present it to the others. It might sound corny but it works and can really boost your confidence.

Good luck!
