Your best bet is look locally. I dont believe the gov’t does anything like that. Are you in the hampton roads area? If so, there is one idea for I know of for you.

Try to do some volunteer work, you’ll find the most generous people there and could possibly do some good for others at the same time.

In Virginia I know finding assistance is hard. I quit looking because it just was not going to happen. But, I will pray that you do better than I did. i hope you and your family get the Christmas help you need. For my kids this year it is just not a reality. But I am not bitter. I do the best I can and I have great kids who should not have to understand that they will not have a christmas this year but they have been told and have accepted it. but, the tears they cried and mine are hard. This is a cold world at times….

Im in a similar situation myself. As hard as things are right now I am grateful for many things.

First and foremost I have a loving family to share Christmas with. My wife and son. Her parents and brother. My parents and sister.

Everything else will work its way out. At least as long as I dont give up.
