is secondhand smoke from pot bad for you?

i’ve been to a few concerts and people have been smoking weed and i was just wondering if the secondhand smoke is bad for you and is it bad if you get like “contact high” from being around people who smoke weed and will the secondhand smoke show up on a drug test?

Make you sure you have plenty of munchies with you when that happens. Because that makes you hungry!

Lol! Of course not!

Pot is harmless when you smoke it directly, how could it hurt you from just being in the air around you?

Yes, you can get a buzz if you’re aound enough for a really long time, but it’s rare. If you do, however, there IS a slim, slim chance that it could show up on a drug test.

All smoke is bad for you… It burns off the cilia in your trachea (which are the small hair-like projections that help clean the air going into your lungs), as well as clogs bronchiole, which determine the amount of air you take in in a breath. When these clog, you have trouble breathing and cough up mucous. Clogged bronchiole are also usually where respiratory infections start.

I doubt it will adversely affect your health from a few concerts, unless you have a really bad respiratory condition.

Yes, you can get buzzed from a lot of secondhand weed smoke, but it isn’t as strong as it would be if you smoked it directly. Not sure about the drug test… it would depend on just how much THC you took in.

Allergies suck.

But pot smoke is harmless. Heavy smoking leaves some tar, but if you’re that worried about health, what are you doing out of the bubble in the first place?

Second hand smoke still gets you high. its pretty much the same as taking a toke in the beginning. So dont worry, and enjoy. Hell, do some shotguns, get really baked.

Not 100% true. For a vap. yea, 95%, but bong hits, i believe its 78% or something like that, and im not 100% sure for joints. But i do know that they all differ.

I honestly wouldn’t worry about it too much. Honestly, how much second hand smoke are we talking about here? If you are going to be in a room 8 hours a day for 5 days a week where folks are going to be toking up non stop, sure I’d be a little concerned, and annoyed, but if you’re just hanging out in your buddies car while he smokes a bowl, you have absolutly nothing to worry about. It is no worse (and probably better) than being near a campfire.
