NO. Death is a permanent solution to temporary problems. I highly recommend you look at the HelpBot post and call the hotline immediately.

no. death is not easier. we can not escape our struggles, we take them with us. sucks eh? best to learn to accept them and not judge ourselves, others or the condition of our life. find what ever it is that makes you smile. that is the easiest thing. then learn to focus on what makes you smile.

me … i like water, glitter, babies, fish, watching gardens grow, knowing the sun comes up every morning. watching people be, uh .. well themselves … uhm entertainment … i take it all in like some movie.

really … learn to not take it so seriously because eventually you DO die and then well, none of it mattered anyway. so … why make a big deal of it now?

No one can possibly know if death is easier because it is unknown.

You may not believe in God, Satan, hell, or Heaven, but death will only bring misfortune to those that care about you. And although you said that you’re not suicidal, there is always someone who cares to listen to your problems. Always.

It may be easier for the person committing suicide because he/she can escape everything but it is also extremely selfish. It creates pain in the people who were close with the person and is unfair to them.

I think death is definitely easier, yes. But it isn’t necessarily the right choice. Life has a lot of pain, and all the best things require lots of hard work, but in the end its worth it. I have attempted suicide, and the act that should have killed me was easy to do, but I survived, and it has been hard, but I am thankful to be alive.

Who knows?? I’ve tried to find out three times. The first was almost funny. Rat poison only kills small rats, not big ones!!
The next two were quite serious. Hospitalised, unable to even walk for days.
It’s unfortunate that those who chose this path before us can’t communicate.
It’s unfortunate, but still true. I guess there’s only ONE way to find the answer.
Even in my selfishness and private, self created prisons, I look for reason to live.
Besides, I fear that I would live even if I tried to blow my head off!! Now how would I feel walking around with half a head??

jdrea … hey it happens. I placed medicinal leeches on the reconstructed face of a man who tired to kill himself …. yeah. Really. It happens. He blew his lower jaw right off. Has greater challenges now … but evidently agreed to reconstructive surgery, he must want to live again. Even with a pretty messed up face.
