my Boyfriend got a parking fine in feb 08 and didnt

pay it he has now got a letter off the baliffs saying he now owes £234.00 is there anyway he doesnt have to pay all of that?

He can request a hearing with a judge or traffic judge and give them the legitimate excuse as to why he could not pay it at the time. Sometimes they take pity on people who don’t have enough money and they reduce the fines.

It never helps to ignore a ticket. It would have been much less if he had paid the original ticket. There’s not much of a reason he can give for not paying it. It could have been much worse!
