I am not a keen lover of the feline type myself. I still hate that ginger cat that visits my back garden.
They do have that habit though, of weadling into our sentimental fondness for them.

Aww I love cats :) tupac sounds unique lol.

I like cats, but not in the house. I have a problem with them using their litter box, then jumping up on the kitchen counter. The other problem I have with them is that I would hate life if I could not go outdoors and many cat lovers feel strongly that cats are not safe outdoors. I hope nobody ever thinks that it would not be safe to allow me to go outdoors. I would not appreciate the “kindness” at all.

hey Mal. im in one of my bitter, cynical pessimistic moods today… i feel you with the whole cat thing, i hate them. my rabbit bt me yesterday, almost took a chunk of my hand, i feel like killing the little sh1t and eating it…. grrr.

Cats are fickle! They’re fun and funny to have around. You don’t know what they’re going to end up doing.

Thats the nice thing, if you pet is a rabbit. It is acceptable to eat rabbit stew. But if it’s a cat, it’s not the same.

I had a cat that drank out of the toilet, weird. As for eating pennies, ne’er heard of that…every cat I’ve had has taken to eating tinsel off the Christmas tree and had the most sparkly umm…well… :)

Cats are… eccentric! That’s why eccentric people like them most I guess.

If he/she is eating something bizarre, it can sometimes be a symptom of a deficiency in their diet. Ask your veterinarian to check the cat over if possible. It may be that you need to boost his/her minerals.

I am a cat in real life. I am fickle independent and like who I choose. I come to you when I want attention, and walk away when I dont, I have been called eccentric, So cats are awesome!!!

The reason she’s drinking out of the toilet is probably because the water’s fresher (to her.) Think about it. Would you want to drink lukewarm water that had been sitting out all day? There are things you can get that spin and give fresh water, you may wish to consider getting one of those because water from the toilet isn’t like water from the tap.

I dislike cats immensely. So why did I own one?? His name was Boris as in Karloff, because he was a monster. He was evil and ungrateful. He was a nice weight on my lap. I miss that cat….wanders away thinking of the cat that I LOhated..{=0)

I have no idea about cats, I have a hamster called Pandora and she likes to make lots of noise when I am concentrating, she bites her bars and runs in her squeeky wheel at night and goes to bed in the day… I wish I could do that :)

I have owned several cats and the variety of personalities is just like humans. I have a finiky female that refuses to eat meat unless it’s cooked. She turns her nose up if she’s been eating the same kind of food for too long.
She NEVER eats anything she kills, mice, birds, bugs… But for whatever reason she will eat spiderwebs…

My autistic cat (I call him this because… well… it’s the best way to describe him) eats anything, from cat food, dog food, to cauliflour (cooked or raw), to raw onions, to paper plates, to lint. He LOVES corn, broccoli and strands of carpet…

Go figure.

Oh yeah, and he prefers to push the food off the plate with his paw or nose and dig it out from under the rim of the dish to eat it…

she eats pennies huh, the jack russle my sis used to have used to try to eat sequences lol reminds me of the goats that not only want to eat the food you give but the bag too lol and your coat! lol I like cats, but I dont like how unpredictable they are. They can be happily strooked and purring then claw your arm off without warning! lol I also don’t like how they rub themselves over your clothes and you cant get the darn hairs off your work trousers lol

They have the neatest “grooming post” kinds of things out there now. You know how cats love to rub against something, especially a brush? These are bristly posts that the cat can just rub on constantly. It’ll pick up the fur so the couches don’t too.

Cats are weird. Mine don’t eat the carpet, or in fact pennies… one of them eats paper though. IMPORTANT paper, mind. But you should buy a cat fountain. Both the cats and dog love it.
