my Fiance isn’t willing to participate in my family traditions,

I need help! Christmas is so so important to me. My family has so much fun from December 1st through the new year: making cookies, decorating the house and tree, singing carols, doing puzzles around the fire place, and much much more. I live with my Fiance now in another country, so I can’t go home right now. I’m feeling really homesick and I want to do some of my family’s traditions with my fiance, but he doesn’t want to do any of them! I can’t get him to set aside a night to decorate the tree, he doesn’t want to make cookies or even go get santa pictures! It’s really disappointing for me to have such a scrooge as a living partner. I don’t want to have to force him to do things, because they are supposed to be fun. Any ideas on how I can get him excited about these traditions or maybe to make some of our own?
