because today at school i kicked someone (it wuz like a fakish friend figh ya no?) and some guy wuz like POWNAGE
i wuz very confuzed
i wuz gunna ask but i didnt wanna seem like a loser
and like ive heard ppl before but i didnt no wot i means so can someone pplz tell me wot it means

It’s so strange when people use internet slang while speaking. I heard a girl today (in my COLLEGE class!) say j/k lol. I wanted to slap her! Most people who use pwned in real life are 9th grade boys who’ve never had a girlfriend.

I have been talking to people, and they have said lol, with a straight face. I think it may slowly be coming to mean “I understand the joke, but it wasnt good enough to laugh at” at least in real life conversation
