Clogged sink

I accidentally put some stuff (food etc) down my kitchen sink drain and now it is clogged with a few inches of water. Over an hour ago I poured two bottles of Drain-O into the sink but the water is still there. The bottle said it could work as fast as 15min so I am not holding out much hope that it will work with time. What can I do??? I am going out of town tomorrow and the only open store is a gas station.

From my own experience, you are going to have to call a plumber. That drain o stuff doesn’t work. If you leave it for a day or two the water will probably drain out but don’t count on the clog being fixed. You will pay big bucks but there are plumbing services that have 24 hour service.

Poor some gasoline in the drain. Set it on fire. It will burn through whatever is clogging the drain.
