I’d go with the longish gold knee high if you are 16 and going to a church wedding!
And yes, it is probably appropriate to wear a dress to such an occasion!
why do my posts keep postiing as annonymous???
its annoying me.
ok thanks. now i know what to wear tomorow.

She can’t wear a mini to a wedding.
When choosing your outfit for church just keep a few things in mind:
no cleavage,
no mini skirts (below the knee dress/skirt pants are fine as well),
no flashy colours (no gold or silver dresses please).
And Congratulations to your cousin

sorry i didnt notice the “mini” there
tough choice
here’s a piece advice my grandmother used to tell me that I just made up right now!
A wedding is not a disco…
So dress accordingly!
;)
You don’t have to wear a dress, you just have to be smart. A smart top and black trousers would do. Out of the dresses though definately the gold.
no way i would wear a pair of these Jeans with holes on the knees and a black leather belt with buckles and a chain…
Haha barbyman, what you just said reminded me of something a friend of mine once told me!
His uncle was this big burly bikey!
One day he saw on the church billboard “Come as you are”
So the next Sunday he rocked up to church in nothing but his undies!
I thought it was pretty funny!
well if you honest with God be yourself .I like this Unkle…
Shoulders covered, if your dress is strappy or strapless, get a nice little card to go over it, Vicors don’t tend to like shoulders
i am a catholic and i agree with cakes. cover up in church. you can always remove the layers at the reception but for church please don’t show to much skin. Remember the attention should be on the BRIDE and maybe the groom

damit. all my dresses are strappless, and i think my gold dress is actually a funny bronzy browny colour…..and i dont have any cardys….
Do you have a nice hooded sweater? (I have one that’s a zip up that looks really nice, it’s just black knit, though.)
Omg, everyone.
We went to the wrong wedding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Classic.
nothing really.
just mum was saying it started at 2:30 so we got there at about 2:10 and we got in the churches foryer and there was a wedding. so we thought we were late. then they all stood up after they kissed and were singing. and i was going thankyou we missed it. then the bride and groom walked past us and we clapped with everyone else and i realised they wernt our bride n groom and mum was like… kids…walk slowly to the car…
then we just went home.
apparantly our wedding started at 3:30
