does anyone know how to improve your memory?

i have been studying for exams and no matter how much i read i never seem to remember this stuff. it never seems to go from my short term memory to my long term memory. if i wasn’t in my 20’s i would think that i am starting to develop Alzheimer’s or something. Anyone know what i can do to improve my memory?

There is suppose to be some herbal supplement that is supposed to help but I don’t remember what it is called. LOL I to suffer from a bad memory at 33 and has always been bad. You can try taking Ginkgo Biloba that helps me a little. My advice is to enjoy everything as if it was the first time you have done it…you don’t remember doing it the first time anyway.

Work your brain. Seriously, a few years ago when I was still in school, my math teacher was saying something about this.

Do puzzles, word problems, etc. Challange yourself. :)

Hmm, if im not mistaken the fatty acid Omega 3 found in fish oil pills helps much with memory.
In my psychology class we learned a bit about how the brain works. It is similar to a library where all similar information is stored together neatly with connections between the different sections.
If you could somehow order the information you study (bullet points about similar topics) it should help significantly. It would make it easier for the brain to categorize the information. Too many people try to cram unrelated information into their brains, and as a result they have trouble recalling it when it truly matters (taking tests)

i just watch today’s episode of the doctors and they had some recommendations for forgetfulness:
omega 3 supplements or fish high in omega 3
blueberries (and other fruits and vegs)
B12 injections
brain stimulation as in puzzles etc…
