Does cocoa butter get rid of existing stretch marks? I thought it just prevented them in the first place??? I’ve been wondering about getting rid of my stretch marks also.

same, i’m going to central america for four weeks next year and i really would like them to be long gone by then, does anyone know what causes them in the first place, i’m guessing its ’stretching’ of the skin/whatever is underneath…

exercise!!! jogging
where are these marks? i work in the cosmetic field i know there are plenty of products but most of them are not so good in helping this issue so far.,,,,so try with natural options such as gym or jogging and good food….hope this might help.

as for the causes it might be something you got from your family and or from the type of your skin maybe it’s very sensitive, the clothes you are wearing might affect as well or even the products you’ve been using …everything can be……just depends….

I had bad stretch marks and my mom brought me this really good stuff
its by the brand clarins, and it comes with a tonic oil and some other kind of cream.
its not cheap but it works well.

I exercise, use bio oil in the morning and palmers cocoa butter at night lol. and it’s not working, and ive had these marks for like five years now. the products don’t remove the scar, rather they just reduce the shine. sigh. havent used that clarins thing, but i’ll try that. I think that the only way to remove the scars forever is surgery. sigh

oh thats bad… i suppose it depends what type of skin you have…
i know palmers do a scar serum, and the skin doctors also do one for that.

I have stretch marks on my side and a little on the inside of my legs…. If you go to your local doctor and tell them about it they give u this really good lotion. I have been using it for two weeks now and the only stretch marks you can see is on the very top of my thigs and a little on the sides still….The doctor said they appeared becasue i use to be bigger when i was younger and i lost a lot of weight. Tanning might help if u just cant get rid of them becasue it makes your skin tan and your stretch marks will have less of an apperence. hope this helps =] ♥
