Hey guys, i need a touch of help.

im in history class right now(we are allowed to use computers so im not cheating) and i need to find out how many counties were involved in world war 2. we were told that 10 or 12 were way to few. i dont need all their names, and if you could give a good guess that would be awesome too. oh, and how many continents were in it? Im thinking 5. please help. thanks.
