My computer overwrote my final paper I have to rewrite, but instead I’ve been mindlessly surfing the internet for hours and hours and hours.

I went to the geek, he said he’s not seen this problem before. I think he’s new.

I spent 30+ hours writing that paper. I’m tired.

Ok, well knowing your environment would help a little, but there is volume shadow copies, which if they where set up right, you should be able to recover a previous version. Also there are 3rd party utilities, one is called Disk Doctors which is about $100 US, that would allow you to find previous versions, etc. Oh and are you sure your pc just over wrote your paper all by its self….not likely, somthing had to of happened.
