how did you realise you had it and how do you get tested for it

If you go to a psychiatrist they should be able to diagnosis it.

The biggest symptom is severe mood swings. Not just your every day mood swings, but basically oscillating between extreme hyper mania states and very deep depression.

I noticed that i had BPD, when I realized that i was acting manic (impulsive) and that my life was tunneling down hill, there are alot of different ways of managing BPD, mostly with medication, talk to youre phyc. they should be the best people to help. or you could start with youre family doc. they could help to, its not something you recover from, its something that you LEARN TO MANAGE.
