I’d like some advice about what industry norms are in concrete/construction consulting commissions.

I am currently a consultant for a concrete company and am negotiating my compensation with that company. It will probably be structured something like this: x/m3, where m3 is meters cubed of concrete in any project I win the concrete bid for. X is the number I want to get an idea about. It should be weighted by how favorable the payment terms are that I negotiate. If anybody can give some feedback I’d appreciate it so that the concrete company and myself can both come to an equitable agreement.
