HELP I’ve got writers block!

I’ve got this problem where i can only think of big action/adventure/sci-fi/drama stories but i can never be botherd to write them so i would really like to write somthing relativly short and i cant think of any ideas for a short story… can anyone help???

Other than that, veg out for a while. If you keep outputting, you’re eventually going to run dry. Go watch a movie, play a game, or read a book. Drop some acid, smoke some pot… feed your head a little.

go for a walk, hang out with some friends.
ideas tend to come when least expected. just get your mind off of it.

Take notes on everything, pay attention to everything around you and ask yourself questions about it. Force yourself to write until you can make it sound good. Eventually, you’ll either get good ideas, good material, or both.

Force yourself to write somthing, ANYTHING! It could be about pirates or about monkeys. Like i said anything. Or you could write crap. convince yourself that the first draft dosent have to be outstanding.
