LSTSM hands down. Snatch had it moments, but it was marred by having to fit the formula, particular their being a winner at the end.

Lock stock is one of the greatest films I’ve seen. It was perfect in it’s own way. So many quotes, such real and memorable character. Every scene and interaction gets me. I have the sound bytes mixed into my play list. Oh, and the sounds track?

in “the devil own” he didn’t win in the end, and it was a great film, but was a bit of a financial flop.

that waht I’m saying. LSTSB is rowan, but he just doesn’t fit into an american package. I know people love snatch, but i think LS will be a classic for many years longer

Not much I didn’t like about it now I think about it. I think the top two would be the feel of film making, the grit as yuo say, and the completely lovable vilans, ie every character in the whole movie :-)

I also watched the best quotes from snatch, and blockhead is a nightmare character. Not many villians like him on tv, can’t think of one as scary come right now actually. He seems so real, and so brutal.

There is another gangster movie by the same creators…Its called 4 Layer Cake. I’m suprised that nobody has mentioned it.
