Whichever one appeals to you the most. Journalism, however, will pay the least.

Journalism will pay less than nursing? Many journalists write novels that end up making loads.

I would go with the one that you want as a career to pay the bills, then I would learn the one you want as a hobby. You could do it on the side and see if you can do something else down the road. Do what makes you happy!

You don’t need a degree in journalism to write a novel . . . look at the late Dr. Michael Crichton, who was a medical doctor!

But jobs such as newspaper reporter or electronic journalist just don’t pay that much, until and if you make it to the big time.

I know one thing . . . nurses can get a job–pronto–wherever they go!
