Medical school?

So, I did poorly in high school and had a GPA of 2.3 and only went to community college. I want to go to medical school to become a family practioner. Am I smart enough to go to medical school? Where do I start? A college that has a pre-med program?

Yes, a high GPA (esp in science and math courses) in a four-year college is a good start.

You can definitely do it! What you have to do is go to a place where you can make good grades in college. Your high school GPA does not matter one bit. Every college course you take matters though, especially any science classes. You would do better to stay at a local college and get good GPA than go to a tough place and do average.
