is this at all good and what do you think it means?
“i’ve got some johnny walker red,” he says to you
and you want nothing with this to do,
but it’s better than sitting alone, and it’s simple like a chat on the phone.
there’s nothing appealing about an older man who takes the bottle straight to the face,
but tonight he’s more appealing than you
he’s got more grace, intelligence, says what he means
see, it’d be too easy to compare you to a car sales man
as i sit on the side of the road,
taking frustrations out with my head to the steering wheel
the warranty we’ve got here is ********,
you see, my car won’t seem to start.
but you’ve got your next closure in your office
signing dotting lines is made so that the person can’t look up to see
the smirk on your face
that qualifies for so many lies.
