Hello, I’m 23 and I need help.

I live in IL and have no family here now since my mother recently passed away. The home we were living in we were renting but I can’t afford the rent myself. I have a job I just started but the money isn’t too good just yet. I’m now about to be homeless…help…

Try to get a roommate, or a second job? Cut down on personal expenses?

Transfer to a smaller house…Rent a room. That’s way cheaper. You could find a room mate.Do you have relatives to help you?

I agree with pluto_goddes.

go to craigslist.com and rent out part of your apartment or find yourself a cheaper place.

Its tough, but if you can get a loan to move that would be great, normally for an apartment its tough to get the start up to move, but that could be a good option for you.

post something on craigslist stating your situation asking if there is anyone willing to help you out. like let you stay at their house while you save up money and try to get on your own 2 feet again. tell them you will clean or something to help out.
trust me, it will work. that is actually what i had to do and it worked out great for me!
