what about a suburb of san fran? if you’re a 15min drive away it’ll still be worth it. and outside of the city i’m sure the houses must be cheaper. you also have to consider what you do for a living, and check online job sites to see how much you’d make there. maybe your occupation is better paid there, so the cost of the house will seem less.

maybe you don’t need to live in a house. get a cheap condo or apartment and quit being greedy
