AT 5′8 and 180 lbs. you are only mildly overweight. And, something like 90 precent of the people in the US are oveweight.

And, most importantly: attractive has ALLOT more do do with how you feel about yourself!!!!

What is important is how you feel about yourself. Are you healthy, active, clean? Chris just said what I wanted to tell you. What matters is what you think. If you are not healthy, shed some pounds.

I have been… I use to weigh 140… and thought that I was fat then. I put on the weight after being on birth control for the past two years. I have been working out everyday for the past two months for 2.5 hours a day… and I have only lost 5 pounds. I have a bf that I live with… we have been together since I started the birth control. He never used to say things (I am sure that he thought things) but recently he has made comments… I dont feel good about myself. And he has not been making it any better. I feel like I am trying so hard and getting nothing in return.

If your boyfriend makes such comments and making you feel bad, it is time to get rid of such boyfriend. Also, try to switch to another birth control pill. Some has more hormones than the other. Do you retain water?

Retaining water is a huge female problem in my family… so yeah. I am currently on the shot right now and I have been for but four months when I took the pill. In that four months I gained 18 pounds… so I wont be taking that again.

So here is my suggestion: go and have an ultrasound or X-ray to see whether you have kidney stones or not. Taking birth control can fasten the formation of stones if you are prone to it and that could be the cause of your retaining water. If you don’t want to do that, try to drink lemon water mix, that is: I cup of pure lemon juice to 2 litres of water. Drink it and you will see the pounds shedding away. It is a very good kidney washer and detoxifier for the whole body. Also, get another birth control pill if that is what you want to do, which has more estrogen. All the others contribute to water retention. Since you are so sensitive to pills, why don’t you try other methods of birth control, other than pills?

you could try the 18in4 diet where u lose 18 lbs in 4 days. it actually does work, you have to buy it online but it’s like 20summink lbs ive been doing it for 16 days now and I started on 252lbs or 18 stones/114.3kg and have lost 72LBS! am now 180lbs or 12.8 stones/81.6kg. (THIS TOOK AGGGES 2 WORK OUT 4 ALL U PEOPLE WHO ‘DONT DO STONES!’
Anyway ive got another 8 days to go as my goal is to lose another 36 lbs which will make me 142lbs or 10 stones/64.4kg.
Man I sound like this guys (the one who made the diet plan lol) agent, im not just a satisfied customer and was looking up my current weight and stumbled across this so thought i’d give u a hand lol.
Hope it wrks as well 4 u as it is 4 me.

No need to do a bunch of expensive tests, or drink a bunch of horrific drinks. If you at 5′8″ tall and a female, hate to tell you, but you are overweight. It’s unhealthy and probably not attractive.

Drink 8 - 10 glasses full of water every day and stop drinking everything else. Stop eating crap food that contains a lot of sugars, high fructose corn syrup, etc. Stay away from refined grains too — go with whole wheat alternatives instead and make it minimal for now. Most importantly, eat less food. People in the US eat way more food than they need to eat to sustain their activities. I recommend avoiding beef and pork completely, make poultry an every 10 day item (4 ounce total) and stick to fish or better yet tofu. All meals require vegetable and greens…not just salads…swiss chard, kale, spinach. Lose the salad dressing too or go with a small pump dressing. A piece of fruit mid-morning and mid-afternoon as a snack. Supplements are not necessary. If you must, do a fish oil or flax oil and a fiber supplement like Colon Pure from GNC.

Then don’t cheat and write it all down. Watch those pounds fly off your body! Good luck.

im 5′8 and i weigh 180 and i think i look ok…but i play basketball and i have a lot of muscle..
but anyways i would say running for about 1-2 miles and fruits and veggies are your friends! lol
good luck!

-p.s dont try fad diets. 9/10 they dont work or u’ll just gain the weight back as soon as u stop them

I’m 5′8, 180, and a female. Although I know I am over weight, I don’t let it bother me. After facing a battle with depression, I am finally returning to my active life. I have always weighed between 150-160 lbs and I have never had a problem with boys. I am beautiful and confident no matter how chubby I may get. Because I am in control of my body. If you want to lose weight, you will. Just diet and excersize. But to be perfectly honest, I am more comfortable and confident with myself now than I ever was at 150lbs.
