Computers help: Recently, my pc was infected with antivirus 2009. - Help.com

Recently, my pc was infected with antivirus 2009.

I killed the processes and removed the virus from the pc (or so I thought) and now something will not allow me to access the symantec website to update my protection. I can access any website except those that allow me to download/update protection. I am also unable to restore my computer to an earlier time. Please help!

I had the same problem and I found this website:

http://www.malwarebytes.org/

Download the program and it will remove that Antivirus 2000.
