Is there a way my friend’s household can legally adopt me?

I can’t handle my living conditions anymore. To make things short, my family is cruel to me and treats me like a slave. I’m screamed at constantly, and my parents provide me with no money for anything, and I’m constantly ignored. I’m 16 from NJ and I’ve dealt with this mental torture long enough. By best friends parents are even offering to legally take me as their child, because they know what goes on. The only problem is, we don’t know how to sort out the legalities.

Does anyone know how I would be legally taken out of my home, and adopted by my best friend’s parents?

your Legal Parents would have to sign fourms.
Call childline, becuase it could enrage them further

I think you might be able to be emancipated, then put yourself under the guardianship of you’re friends families. A lawyer would be able to help you sort out all the steps.

your friends parents will have to call the Social Services and make a report on your parents and then step up as a foster family for you i have been their litterally
