Good day to all of you out there,
I’m posting this cry for help in the hopes that someone out there will read it and offer us the much needed help we need.
The Knysna playhouse theatre in South Africa need financial assistance desperately PLEASE! You can visit our webbsite to see the wonderfull work we have done over the past year at www.theknysnsplayhouse.co.za
Our problem is this we have been loosing R20 000-00 per month for the past year and now we have run out of funds. We work 14 hours days bringing the magic of theatre to the community here on the beautifull Garden Route.
We are also in the process of launching a childrens programme here on the garden route that would have introduced the children of the Garden Route to the magic of Theatre Crafts, not just acting.We do run a young actors training academy for previously disadvantaged children as well as children who have advantages in life, this has been very popular and lots of fun for the children. But that might all be lost soon.
I have called upon our local people to help us but they are all scared, I suppose. All it would take is $20 000 or even $10 000 to help us stay afloat.
PLEASE, I PRAY THAT SOMEONE HEARS MY CRY FOR HELP, NOT JUST FOR ME BUT FOR THE SAKE OF CULTURAL AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT IN THE SKILLS OF THEATRE CRAFTS.
