He’s treating me awful…

Whenever I say I can’t do something, he says ‘I knew it’
He’s mean to me and makes fun of me in front of his friends
He makes my food for me cause he says I don’t know how/am able to do it myself
I take 2 buses both ways pretty much everyday in the blizzards to see him, he can’t once leave his house to meet my friends. Never once. He doesn’t care.
But I love him…

He’s treating me awful…

Just because you love someone doesn’t mean you should be in a relationship with them. It sounds like he’s not ready for a relationship, and you deserve to be treated better than that.

I was suicidal and he made me feel better. I feel like if I wasnt with him I’d be like that again. And besides, he IS a nice guy, just…expresses it badly? I dunno…excuses…

lol no, he just likes being in his basement smoking weed. Also, his native language is french and mine is english, so Im always the awkward, left out one whenever I go to his house with his friends. But he speaks english much better than I speak french, and I would do everything I could to make him feel comfortble around my friends, so i dunno why he cant be the least bit bothered to at least MEET them…if I really cared about someone, I’d want to see their whole life, not just them feeling weird in my basement.

Sounds like he is treating you poorly to make himself feel better. By treating you this way he is able to avoid his problems and shortcomings. You should leave. Wait for someone who loves you and cares about you. This guy is a loser. He will probably always be a loser, and you need to know that you deserve much more out of life than a boy that can’t love you the way you need to be loved.

I agree he sounds emotionally abusive to me. I’d cut him loose and find someone who won’t put you down and treat you that way.

i agree with buffalobrain all the way. an i no exactly how tht is.. one of my exes was like tht. my only advise is to dump him. cuz wen i went out with the guy tht did tht stuff to me, it just got worse an worse. so thts my suggestion for ya.
