a couple is two.
like stephanie said, few is three or four
a bunch is 5+
Yes, but you can use it to mean a few, such as “I’ve got to do a couple of things before I leave”.
you can, but it’s incorrect :P
it should be “I’ve got a few things to do before I leave”
Literally?
A couple means two. http://dictionary.reference.com/brows…
A few means more than one, but still a low number. http://dictionary.reference.com/brows…
Personally, I use “a few” for “three”, (if I’m being precise) but that’s just me.
It definitely means 2. I dislike it when ppl use it to mean more than 2. lol
couple means 2 but depending on what your using it in some make it three which i think is weird cause like a couple skittles people will give you like three or like going out with a couple friends its like 3-5 when really they should say few. couple means two but is often misused. OVERALL: COUPLE = TWO(2).
