I have an iblaster music system model 184 from Excalibur

electronics that I purchased a number of years ago and it wasn’t worknig then, so I just boxed it up. Rcently I brought it back out to see if I had made some dumb mistake and I still cannot get it to turn on. Is there a trick to it, or something I can do? Help!

I set it up like the instructions said, then turned on the main speaker, and the blue standby light comes on, then i hit the standby button which should turn it on, but it remains on standby.

It’s possible there’s a broken wire in the switch. DO you have an electronic repair shop near you? I would recommend taking it in for an estimate.
Sometimes Circuit City/The Source/Radio Shack/whatever they call themselves now can do repairs.
At the very least, you can ask them if you did things correctly.

Hello, it sounds like faulty sauldering, bring it back to the shop you got it in and inform them that it never worked and they should see the reason for this.

there is a switch to turn system on . It is on the back of the biggest speaker known as the subwoofer.

Everytime I plug my itouch 8GB into the iblaster, the iblaster flashes. And when I go to play my itouch it doesn’t work and flashes again. But when I put the radio on I hear my itouch playing in the background. Can anyone help?

Not sure how old this post is but I also have a unit that was working then it died. From what I hear this is the norm as it looks like junk. I’m working on geting the paper work on it and if I get it fixed I will let you know. As for your question, you need the remote to do anything but just to turn it on hit the big button on the small unit.
