Spell well and save the internet and the English language.

There is no propper English language any more. Take a few of the so called English speaking nations.
Australia, Canada and especialy the United States.
They all have their differences, of spelling certain words, the words that describe it is bastardization, of the English language.
Now take America in particular, they have corrupted the true English language to such an extent, that it is no longer a real valid language. We have to try to choose between the so called American English and the propper English, English language.
The German language is the same as it always was, as is that of most other countries.
Then you get certain Americans that complain about the way us English spell. The thing is they dont tell us which sort of English language and spelling we should use.
It is they who have corrupted the language, to such an extent, that most Brits dont give a s***, as to what they think about it. Myself of course, being one of them.
When they bother to use the English and spell it as it should be spelled, that is spoken in it’s native country (ENGLAND). Then I will bother to spell it correctly. Firstly they need to learn to do it correctly, to deserve it back from me.

All languages are constantly changing. English is no exception. The Germans don’t speak the same way they did a hundred years ago, and Mexican Spanish is very different from that spoken by the Spanish. Even within countries there are regional differences.

I make no apology for the way I was taught to spell in school here in the US, but then I would never complain about British spelling, as I know where the language originated. I do understand the frustration. Text messaging/chat/IM spellings irritate the crap out of me.

Not at all smoogie.
All this talk of spelling correctly, has always been one that keeps comming up time after time on here.
People come here to help others or be helped. Some of the above last year, on or arround Christmas, saying that it didn’t really matter. As long as a post could be understood, it didn’t matter. They now say it does.
This to me is two faced and they didn’t mean what they said before.
It doesn’t matter to me, it never will.
There are lots of issues regarding the English language, that are inconsistant with different English speaking nations. These need to be addressed, before any of them complain about another.
I am pointing out as well, that which English spell checker should one use, that is suitable to all.

I thought it would be nice to share some technology with others that I found to be of benefit. Plus its free. Bonus.
thep I really was joking when I said I was thinking of you when I placed this post. I just noticed that some people were not happy with their spelling and wished to improve it.
