Love help: If I claim to be able to travel stars and profess to be the next prophet what will happen to me? - Help.com

If I claim to be able to travel stars and profess to be the next prophet what will happen to me?

Will i be loved or killed? In this time of hardship and so called evil if I offered myself as a human sacrifice would people readily accept it or want to learn more of what I have to say? Can we live in harmony with our different gods? Can we embrace fear and love? Can we give freely and love whole heartedly? Can we trust the universe and everything in it to have a master plan?

K

I am being deadly serious…consider what it means to me to say the above…
imagine the consequences that it could bare on me and those around me…All my loved ones.

-If I claim to be able to travel stars and profess to be the next prophet what will happen to me?

You will be admired, ignored, mocked, worshipped, accepted, rejected, or something else depending on your style.

-Will i be loved or killed?

Not likely, but again it depends on how you make your claim.

-In this time of hardship and so called evil if I offered myself as a human sacrifice would people readily accept it

Maybe, I’d avoid those people.

-or want to learn more of what I have to say?

Yes, if you find the people interested in the things you think are interesting.

-Can we live in harmony with our different gods?

Sure.

-Can we embrace fear and love?

Metaphorically.

-Can we give freely and love whole heartedly?

Sometimes.

-Can we trust the universe and everything in it to have a master plan?

Sure, why not.

No offense, but I think the most likely course of action that would be taken would be a regiment of pills being prescribed. In the modern age, we see someone claiming to be a prophet as being insane, nothing else.

Your questions of harmony, fear, love, and trusting the universe would probably fit under a ‘utopia’ model of society which cannot actually exist. We can try to strive for a better social model but trying to be a utopia will only lead us to disaster.

I also don’t suggest trying to be a martyr like someone else in history tried to be.

well it would depend on who your message reached
-you might get locked away in to an insane asalyum or become a government experiment
-you might be revered as a god by some and a phony by others
-you might be targeted as a threat to mankind
there’s alot of things that could happen but if you came out an said that it would probable not go good for your loved ones.

and this world today….we can’t get agree about anything…there’s no way we can get along and not everyone is giving…

Nothing has a plan. this is part of the illusion of life.
WE create for ourselves time and schedules and holidays as a means of feeling some sort of plan.
everything is just moving because it can.

you cannot just give yourself up.
You can not go out and tell them to crucify yourself.
not only is that stupid, but it only will make people think you are crazy.
that jesus guy, he did not go out and tell them to do it.
they did it because they could not understand his strange viewpoint.
this just makes you sound like you are begging for attention and followers

well ………..the real prophet of the world today is Thomas S. Monson and he will not be killed neither is he ever hurt.
The last real prophet Gordon B. Hinckley was given the highest honor an American citizen can achieve………a metal of freedom
