Can I change this computers Operating system to Windows?
I don’t know if I can use Linux, so I’d like to change it to somthing I’m use to.
The problem with changing it is that there is very limited memory, so the exchange might not work.

Still, very limited memory might not make this possable.

How big is your hard drive?

Windows 98 would work, but not Vista

not sure about XP
Remember: the info about the computer is in the link above.
yeah, that can’t be your hard-drive as nobody has a harddrive that small, and if that is the case no Windows will go on it.
hmmm trying to remember back if i can remember the instalation sizes of the previous windows…. The short answer is i cant…. But im pretty sure win98 will fit.
thats the problem with all these small laptops, the solid state harddrives are great but too small. They do make solid state drives up to 256 GB. but you wont find them in comertial setups yet. Thats why i just bought a samsung NC10 also small and protable but 160GB of memory
If memory serves win 98 would be fine. But there are alot of small and light linux versions you could use.
I wouldnt worry about being able to use it tho as most of these eepc or acer or small pcs with no hardrive have really locked down versions of linux that are meant for people that have never used the operating system before. So they will be really really easy to use and not confusing at all.
The flip side is it drives us guys that use linux every day mad lol. but hey ho
seriously they are easy to use… easier than windows….
If you have ever used the old ATEASE for windows you will know what i mean…..”shudders with bad memories” lol

lol
man that thing sucked lol hahahaha….. and so easy to hack around :P
Well… the problem is that I like to program in python, and I like to share my creations on other peoples computers. Usually, these computers will be running Windows XP, so if I program in Linux, I might run into some problems along the way.
Then again, the info in the link above said that it was a “Windows-friendly Linux Operating System”…
I know that Linux normaly has python built right into it… hmm, I guess I wouldn’t have any problems.
if not you can install python as easy as pie. I have many times
frm where i free download movie
