How do I connect a new laptop to my verizon wireless router if I forgot my username and password.

I called verizon and they can’t for some reason just give that information. They had me on the phone for over 1 hour and then after I hung up all kinds of spyware and viruses appeared!!!

Just reset your router back to default then when you set it up again put all of the information on a flash stick. Then all you will have to do is put the stick in each PC that you want on your system. You can also save your password there. Hope this helps :-)

I know this sounds stupid, but how do I reset my router. It is a verizon dsl router. Can you give me step by step instructions on how to save it to my flash drive? Thanks so much!

Power on the router. When LEDs become stable, press the reset button at the back side of the router for 8 to 10 seconds. Then wait for one minute, the router will be ready to use.

This is the default address to get into the router http://192.168.2.1. You can set it up from the wizard page.

Hope this helps :-)
